Sierra Berry Defeats No. 2 Seed in Qualifier at ITA Southeast Regional Championship
LAKE NONA, Florida (October 14, 2021) – University of South Florida women's tennis standout
Sierra Berry won her qualifying match at the ITA Southeast Regional Championships on Thursday at the USTA National Campus in Lake Nona, Fla. Berry now moves into the main draw with fellow teammate
Grace Schumacher who is also playing singles in the event.

Berry, a freshman from Frisco, Texas, dominated her opponent, and No. 2 seeded, Maya Tahan, of the University of Miami, 6-3, 6-2. Main draw pairings will be announced later on Thursday.

In addition to Berry and Schumacher, a freshman from Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia,
Amelie Boy (Trianon, Mauritius) will take the court with Berry to compete in doubles.
