USF Closes Fall Season at UNF Invitational

TAMPA (Nov. 11, 2021) – The University of South Florida women's tennis team will be heading to participate in the UNF Fall Invitational in Jacksonville, at the University of North Florida Tennis Complex, after taking part in the FIU Invitational two weeks ago.

The Bulls will join eight other teams this weekend. Participating in the event will be some of the top collegiate teams in the Southeast, including Florida, Clemson, UNF, FSU, UCF, UNC Charlotte, Tulane, and Auburn.

Sierra Berry and
Grace Schumacher will start Friday off at 9 a.m. with a double match against Carolyn Ansari and Madeline Meredith of Auburn in Flight 1.

In Flight 2 doubles,
Grace Eland and
Alexandria Mjos will face Clemson's Samantha Bukckx and Cristina Mayorova, and
Laura Pellicer and
Margriet Timmermans take on Lucia Petruzelova and Rocio Safont of Charlotte.

In addition, the Bulls' full complement of players will compete in singles during the weekend.

South Florida will close out a successful fall campaign before turning its attention to the Spring season which begins with back-to0back road matches on January 22
nd and 23
rd against Florida A&M and Florida respectively. The Bulls will open up their home schedule on February 2.Â
