USF Returns to Corbett To Close Regular Season Against Temple on Senior Night

TAMPA (Nov. 4, 2021) – The University of South Florida men's soccer team closes out its regular season on Friday night in what is the biggest match of the 2021 campaign. The Bulls will butt heads with Temple at Corbett Stadium with kick-off slated for 7:30 p.m. and the contest can be seen live on ESPN+. Prior to the match, South Florida will honor its six seniors – Felipe Baptista, Henrique Gallina, Richard Laval, Marcus Murphy, Gordon Phipps, and Kazuna Takase – for all of their contributions to the program.

The match will take on an even bigger meaning as the Bulls need to defeat the Owls, and have Memphis lose at SMU, in order for the Green and Gold to finish in fourth place in the American Athletic Conference standings and earn the final AAC Tournament spot. A loss or tie by South Florida, or a win by Memphis, will eliminate them from tournament contention.

The Bulls come into the match with Temple having won three of their last five matches.

All USF matches will be aired live on ESPN+. Subscriptions for the ESPN+ app are $6.99 monthly or $69.99 annually and can be packaged with Hulu and Disney+ streaming services. A step-by-step guide for subscribing to ESPN+ is located here.
