TAMPA, Fla., Feb. 19, 2021 – The University of South Florida women's soccer team opens up its 2020 conference slate with a battle against the Temple Owls on Sunday, Feb. 21 at 1 p.m.Â

The Bulls are coming off of a 3-0 victory over FAU in their season opener. Freshman
Vivianne Bessette (Montreal, Quebec, Canada) tallied a goal and an assist in the match, which earned her the honor of The American's Rookie of the Week.
Sydny Nasello (Land O' Lakes, Fla.) was named to the AAC's weekly honor roll for her three-point performance (1g, 1a).Â

All of USF's home matches on the 2020 campaign, moved from the fall to the spring due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will be broadcast live on ESPN+. Sunday's match will also be broadcast on Bulls Unlimited 2 via the iHeartRadio platform.Â

Due to virus mitigation measures and the size of the venue, USF will have limited fan attendance via team pass list only at Corbett Stadium.

Opponent
Temple (1-1, 0-1) is coming off of a 3-0 victory at Villanova on Feb. 17, however the Owls lost their conference opener in a 3-0 decision against UCF. Emily Kavanaugh leds Temple scorers with three points off a goal and an assist. Hailey Gutowski and Emma Wilkins also have goals, while Djavon Dupree has an assist. In net, Kamryn Stablein has handled all the work for the Owls so far this season, allowing three goals on 19 shots, posting a 1.50 GAA and a .842 save percentage.

Nick Bochette is in his first season at the helm of the Temple program. In his four years of being a head coach, he has compiled a 30-25-6 record.Â
