No. 29 USF to Face No. 50 Miami on Road

TAMPA, Fla., March 19, 2021 – The University of South Florida men's tennis team is back on the road to face No. 50 Miami in Coral Gables, Fla. The No. 29 Bulls are looking to extend their away record to 2-0 in matches against the Hurricanes on Saturday, March 20 at 2 p.m.
 
USF is coming off a string of success at home against Georgia State, Samford, No. 44 SMU, and a tough 2-5 contest against No. 6 TCU. Currently, the Bulls are 5-2 on the road.
 
Scouting Miami
The No. 50 Hurricanes (3-7) return home after a 1-4 loss to No. 15 NC State. Head Coach Aljosa Piric continues his fifth season at Miami.
 
No. 22 Franco Aubone and Benjamin Hannestad suffered their fifth loss of the season against No. 9 Yannai Barkai and Tadas Babelis, 4-6. Duo Bojan Jankulovski and Stephen Madonia lost on court two, 2-6, officially dropping the doubles point for the Hurricanes. In singles play, Hannestad scored the lone point for Miami with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Robin Cantry. No. 34 Adria Soriano Barrera fell to No. 7 Alexis Galarneau, 5-7, 6-4, 3-5. Fellow ranked teammate No. 64 Stefan Milicevic lost to Rafa Izquierdo in a 1-6, 6-7 contest. 
 
Saturday's match will be the first meeting since 2014 between the two; historically, the Bulls are 2-7 against the Canes.
