GREENSBORO, N.C., April 30, 2021 – The No. 12/15 University of South Florida women's soccer team had its season come to an end in the second round of the NCAA tournament with a 2-0 loss to the seven-seed Texas A&M Aggies.

Sydney Martinez (Rincon, Ga.) tallied five saves in the game.
Sydny Nasello (Land O' Lakes, Fla.) recorded a team-high four shots, with three going on goal.

Both teams applied pressure in the first half, but ultimately the teams went into halftime still tied at 0-0.

The Aggies struck quickly following the break. After a USF foul in its own penalty box, Texas A&M's Barbara Olivieri converted on the penalty kick to give the Aggies a 1-0 lead in the 49
th minute.

Texas A&M struck again in the 66
th minute, as Olivieri struck again to expand their lead.

Despite outshooting TAMU by four in the second half, the Bulls were unable to find the equalizer, allowing the Aggies to advance in the tournament.
