TAMPA, Fla., April 9, 2021 – The No. 13/15 University of South Florida women's soccer team closes out regular season play with a trip to Cincinnati for a match on Sunday at 1 p.m.
 
The Bulls clinched at least a share of the AAC regular season title last weekend with a 2-1 victory over Memphis on Saturday at Corbett Stadium. Katie Kitching (Bedale, England) and Sydny Nasello (Land O' Lakes, Fla.) scored goals in the game, while Sydney Martinez made a season-high five saves.
 
USF leads the all-time series against Cincinnati, 12-11-4. The Bulls won the last meeting in 2019, a 1-0 decision in Cincinnati last season. The Bearcats last win came in 2017, a 1-0 victory also in Ohio.
 
Opponent
Cincinnati (4-4-0, 3-3-0 AAC) is on a three-game win streak, gaining victories over Tennessee, Houston and ECU. The Bearcats are fighting for one of the remaining two spots in the American Athletic Conference Tournament.
 
Cincinnati has had eight different goal scorers this year and has only one student-athlete who has scored more than one goal. Kendall Battle has tallied a team leading four points via two goals for the Bearcats this year. In goal, Anna Rexford has played all 724:35 for Cincinnati this season, posting a 0.710 save percentage with a 1.12 goals against average.
