TAMPA, Fla., Sept. 1, 2021 – The University of South Florida women's soccer team continues its season-opening homestand with a matinee matchup against the Kentucky Wildcats on Sunday at 1 p.m.
 
The Bulls are coming off a last-minute, 2-1 loss to LSU (RV), with the Tigers scoring with 27 seconds left to clinch the victory. Sydny Nasello (Land O' Lakes, Fla.) scored her second penalty-kick goal in as many games in the loss. 
 
Scouting the Tennessee Lady Vols
Tennessee has not allowed a goal yet this season, outscoring opponents 18-0 through four games with 10 different goal scorers.
 
Taylor Huff has paced Tennessee scorers this season, with nine points via four goals and one assist. Behind her, Claudia Dipasupil has eight points from three goals and two assists. Three keepers have split time in net so far, however Lindsey Romig has played the most with 225 minutes, making eight saves.
 
The Series vs. The Lady Vols
This is the first meeting between USF and Tennessee.

The program had its first draft pick and second-highest pick in USF Athletics history with Evelyne Viens being taken with the fifth overall pick in the 2020 NWSL Draft by Sky Blue FC, now Gotham FC.
