DELAND, Fla. (September 18, 2021) – The University of South Florida Bulls (6-5) wrapped up weekend action at the Stetson University Invitational on Saturday afternoon with a sweep over Bethune-Cookman University. The Bulls will now turn their attention to conference play having won five of their last six matches.
USF dispatched of the Wildcats on Saturday by set scores of 25-18, 25-18- and 25-8.
Amiree Hendricks-Walker (Los Angeles, Calif.) and Kelsey O'Loughlin (Fort Lauderdale) were both named to the Stetson Invitational All-Tournament Team. USF went 2-1 over the weekend, closing play with back-to-back sweeps.
O'Loughlin and Eke Denessen (Venlo, Netherlands) each dished out 14 assists to the offense in Saturday's sweep as the Bulls were extremely efficient on the attack. USF's hitting percentage increased incrementally over each of the three sets, culminating with a .458 clip in the third game and a .340 total for the match.
Marta Cvitkovic (Rijeka, Croatia), Amanda DeWitt (Jupiter) and Ragan Kinard (Lynn Haven) floored eight kills apiece. Kinard, a true freshman, set a new career high with her eight kills.
The Bulls also dropped nine aces on Bethune-Cookman with O'Loughlin and CC Clausen (The Woodlands, Texas) accounting for three each. Alexis Williams (St. Louis, Mo.) tallied a pair of aces.
Tizi Puljiz (Resistencia, Argentina) put down five blocks at the net and Clausen recorded nine digs in the back row.

- The Bulls recorded 14 service aces over their last six sets at the Stetson Invitational.
- Playing in her third match since returning from injury, Jac St. Cin (St. Petersburg) tallied three blocks in Saturday's win.

The Bulls return home to The Corral to begin AAC play with two matches next weekend. USF will host Cincinnati on Friday, September 24 at 7 p.m. and ECU on Sunday, September 26 at 1 p.m. in Tampa.
