TAMPA, Fla., Sept. 8, 2021 – The University of South Florida women's soccer team continues its nonconference slate against the Florida Atlantic Owls on Thursday at Corbett Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. with the game being streamed on ESPN+.
 
The Bulls are looking to rebound after a 2-0 loss to now No. 19 Tennessee.
 
Scouting the Florida Atlantic Owls
FAU has started with a 2-3-1 record through most of nonconference play, with wins over Oakland and Troy and a tie against Michigan State.
 
Bri Austin leads Owls scorers with seven points via three goals and one assist. Behind her, three other players have each scored one goal. Amit Cohen has played every minute in net so far for FAU, posting a 0.80 GAA and a 0.773 save percentage.
 
The Series vs. The Owls
USF holds a 9-6-2 advantage in the all-time series. The Bulls won the last meeting, 3-0, in last season's season opener on Feb. 7, 2021. The last FAU win came in 2014, a 1-0 decision at Corbett Stadium.

South Florida has won four consecutive conference championships, earning the tournament title in 2017, 2019 and 2020 as well as the regular-season title in 2018 and 2020. The program had its first draft pick and second-highest pick in USF Athletics history with Evelyne Viens being taken with the fifth overall pick in the 2020 NWSL Draft by Sky Blue FC, now Gotham FC.
