TAMPA (Feb. 12, 2022) – The University of South Florida women's tennis team looks to rebound this weekend as American Athletic Conference foe SMU visits USF's Varsity Tennis Courts on Saturday. First serve is set for noon.

The Bulls (1-4), after falling in their home opener on Feb. 4 to North Florida, are looking to reclaim home court and secure their first home win of the season against the Mustangs.

South Florida is in a season-long eight-match homestand that runs through March 9.

Scouting SMU
SMU (3-2) enters its match against the Bulls on a two-match losing streak, however, those losses came at the hands of No. 1 Texas (4-0) and No. 8 Texas A&M (6-1). Its match originally scheduled for Feb. 11, at LSU, was canceled.

The Bulls will look to claim their first match win against SMU since 2019, a 4-3 victory at the USTA National Tennis Campus in Orlando.
