South Florida Gears Up for Mid-Week Matchup Against Stetson on Wednesday

TAMPA (Feb. 22, 2022) – The University of South Florida women's tennis team continues their homestand with a mid-week matchup against in-state foe Stetson. First serve at the USF Varsity Tennis Courts is slated for 1 p.m.
 
Sierra Berry, the Bulls' No. 2 singles player looks to continue her solid play against the Hatters. She is currently 4-3 on the year, including an impressive 4-1 record on court two.
 
On the doubles side, South Florida's No. 1 team of Berry and Amelie Boy continue to be a dominating tandem against their opponents. The duo is 4-1 with all five matches coming on court one. They won their first four completed matches before their first setback last weekend against North Texas.
 
Scouting Stetson
The Hatters (7-0) enter their match with the Bulls undefeated on the season.
 
Stetson has dropped only two singles matches all year. In addition, only three of the Hatters' singles matches went beyond two sets.
 
On the doubles side, Stetson's play is just as impressive having dropped only three doubles matches and one doubles point on the season.
