Tulsa, Okla. (March 20, 2022) – The University of South Florida women's tennis team closed out its two-match Midwest road trip falling to Tulsa, 4-0 at the Michael D. Case Tennis Complex.

The Bulls fell in the doubles portion of the dual as the Golden Hurricane took the point and a 1-0 lead. Tulsa defeated
Sierra Berry and
Amelie Boy on court one, 6-1, however, the Bulls tandem of
Selin Yaylali and
Laura Pellicer found themselves on the doorstep of leveling doubles up at one match apiece before falling 6-4. Â Â

The Golden Hurricane took control of the singles early on defeating
Margriet Timmermans, 6-2, 6-1, on court five, and then
Grace Schumacher, 6-1, 6-3, on court one. The Golden Hurricane secured the match with a 6-3, 6-3 win over
Kiana Mokhtari on court six. Â
Berry was in a three-set battle, 6-3, 2-6, 1-2, on court two before Tulsa locked up the victory.
