TAMPA (March 25, 2022) – The University of South Florida women's tennis team returns to the USF Varsity Tennis Courts to begin its season-ending five-match home stretch as it hosts Houston. First serve is slated for 10:30 a.m.

The Bulls are looking to get back in the win column following a split on their Midwest road trip last weekend at Wichita State (W, 5-2) and Tulsa (L, 4-0).

Sierra Berry looks to continue her stellar freshman campaign when she takes the court against the Cougars. Berry comes into the match with an 8-6 record and a 6-4 mark on court two.

Laura Pellicer is 6-6 overall, with a 6-4 record on court three, and has won her last two matches

In doubles, the Bulls' No. 1 tandem of Berry and
Amelie Boy continues to be a tough out for their opponents on the other side of the net. The duo is 5-4 on the year with all of their matches coming on court one.

In addition, Pellicer and
Selin Yaylali are 3-3 posting all three wins on court three. Â
Scouting Houston
The Cougars (11-6) enter their match with the Bulls on a five-match winning streak and winners of eight of their last 10.
Friday's match will be the first of five straight on the road for Houston to end the regular season.
In singles play, Blanca Cortijo is 10-3 on the year on court six, while Azul Pedemonti is 10-3 on the year, at No. 5.

Cortijo and Pedemonti also team up in doubles on court one, posting an 11-6 record.
