Bulls Finish a Successful Meet at the FSU Relays
Tampa, Fla., March 25, 2022 – The University of South Florida track and field team finished a successful day two in Tallahassee, Florida with five podium placements and achieving more records at USF.
"We were able to accomplish quite a bit today," head coach Erik Jenkins said. "Several personal best were achieved, a school record was broken and we learned from quality experiences this weekend."
Michael Bourne III (Midlothian, Va.) placed second in the 110hurdles with a time of 14.33 moving him onto tenth place all-time at USF.
Eron Carter (Palatka, Florida) also placed second in the discus throw with a distance of 55.93 meters (183-6) maintaining hisposition as number three on USF's performance list, improving his previous USF best of 181-11. Johann Jeremiah (St. George's, Grenada) joined Carter in the discus and placed fourth overall with a distance of 46.43m (152-4).
The Bulls wrapped up competition with three podium spots in the women's 800meters with Patricija Roshofa (Limbazi, Latvia), Arden La-Rose (Toronto, Canada), and Sanique Walker (Manchester, Jamaica)placing first, second, and third respectively. Roshofa won the event with a personal-best time of 2:14:89.
