TAMPA (March 4, 2022) – The University of South Florida women's tennis team takes to the USF Varsity Tennis Courts for the sixth match of its season-long eight-match homestand on Saturday when the Bulls take on South Alabama at 11 a.m.
 
South Florida looks to extend its short two-match winning streak to three matches against the Jaguars following wins over Stetson (4-3) on Feb. 23 and Florida Gulf Coast (4-1) on Feb. 27.
 
Sierra Berry boasts a 6-3 record on the year at both the No. 2 (4-1) and No. 1 positions (2-2) and has won her last two matches.
 
Grace Schumacher and Laura Pellicer are both 3-5 overall. Schumacher is 2-1 on court two and has posted wins in her last two duals, both coming on court two. Pellicer is 3-3 on court three and won in three sets in her last outing.
 
In doubles, the tandem of Berry and Amelie Boy has been almost unbeatable, logging a 5-1 record on court one.
 
Schumacher and Margriet Timmermans have turned in three wins with all coming on court two and have won two straight as a duo.

South Alabama comes into Saturday with an 8-2 record following its 4-0 loss to Florida Atlantic in its last outing.
