USF Softball’s Game Suspended Due to Weather, Weekend Schedule Updated

TAMPA, Fla., April 29, 2022 – The University of South Florida's softball's Friday afternoon game against the Houston Cougars was suspended in the fourth inning due to lightning and rain in the area. The Bulls were leading 4-0 at the time the game was halted.
 
The game will be resumed tomorrow, April 30, at 11 a.m. Tomorrow's originally scheduled game will be played approximately 30-45 minutes following the conclusion of the resumed game. USF's Senior Day ceremonies will take place following the conclusion of Saturday's games.
 
Additionally, due to inclement weather forecasted for Sunday afternoon, the series finale has been rescheduled to a 12 p.m. start and will be broadcast on ESPN+ instead of the originally scheduled time of 2 p.m. on ESPNU.
