TAMPA, MAY 6, 2022ย โ The USF Coaches Caravan will pull out from East Fowler Avenue in April, May and Juneย and make four stops around the state of Florida with Vice President of Athletics Michael Kelly and Head Football Coach Jeff Scott joined by several Bulls coaches, including women's basketball coach Jose Fernandez and men's basketball coach Brian Gregory.

The USF Coaches Caravan, jointly sponsored by USF Athletics and the USF Alumni Association, will make its first stop Thursday, April 21 in Tampa at the T. Pepin Hospitality Centre (4121 N. 50th St) before making more evening stops in Sarasota (April 28),ย Orlando (May 19) and Fort Lauderdale (June 15 - moved from original date of May 12).

"I am very excited for the opportunity to meet our fans from around the state, hear about their passion for the Bulls and share the energy and alignment we feel on campus and how we are building our football program and facilities to a championship level," Scott said.

Each Caravan stop will run from 6:30-9:00 p.m. and will feature a meet and greet and photo opportunities with Kelly, Scott and other USF coaches in attendance, presentations by Scott and other coaches, appetizers and drinks. Attendees will all receive a USF Football 25th Anniversary Commemorative Coke bottle, Alumni Association gear and a chance to win door prizes such as a copy of the USF Football 25th anniversary book.

Tickets to attend a Caravan stop are available for $15 for adults and $5 for children.

About USF Athletics
USF Athletics currently sponsors 19 varsity men's and women's teams that compete in 11 different sports, 18 at the NCAA Division I level in the American Athletic Conference, which will expand to 21 teams with the recently announced additions of women's lacrosse (2023-24) and women's beach volleyball (2024-25). The Bulls' athletic program began in 1965 and completed its 55thย season in 2020-21. Nearly 450 student-athletes train and compete in the athletic district located on the east end of the campus in Tampa, Fla. The Bulls have claimed 26 American Athletic Conference team titles since joining the conference in 2013, including seven trophies in the 2021 calendar year, and own 135 conference titles in department history. The Bulls have posted a combined annual grade-point average over 3.0 for seven straight years and have posted a program-record 14 straight semesters with a combined GPA over 3.0 as of fall of 2021. USF has had nearly 500 student-athletes earn their degree since 2016-17.
