DALLAS, Texas., Sept. 29, 2022 – The University of South Florida women's soccer team shutout No. 24 SMU, 1-0, on Thursday night in Dallas for their second consecutive win.
Chiara Hahn (Lauterbach, Germany) gave the Bulls the early lead with a goal in the 18
th minute of the match.
Gentiana Fetaj (Minden, Germany) earned the assist.
SMU had a chance to tie the match in the 64
th minute but the ball hit the goal post and bounced out of the box.
Sydney Martinez (Ricon, Ga.) finished with two saves in the match, her first coming in the 79
th minute.

The USF women's soccer team has posted ten consecutive seasons of 10-plus wins under head coach Denise Schilte-Brown. The Bulls made their first NCAA tournament appearance in 2010 and returned in 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.
