BOCA RATON, Fla. (Jan. 15, 2023) – The University of South Florida men's tennis team was defeated by UC Santa Barbara on Sunday, 4-0, in its second match of the season at the Kimberly V. Strauss Tennis Center .Â
Doubles play saw the Gauchos sweep the Bulls, 6-4, 6-4.
The Bulls had a difficult time setting the pace in their singles matches. Alvin Tudorica lost to Phillip Jordan, 2-6, 1-6. Thomas Pavlekovich-Smith was also defeated by Lucca Liu, 0-6, 2-6.
Bruno Oliveira, Erik Grevelius and Tom Pisane would all go three sets in their singles matches.
