Gainesville, Fla. (Jan. 27, 2023) – The University of South Florida men's tennis team dropped its match against the No. 16-ranked Florida Gators on Friday afternoon in Gainesville, 4-1.

In doubles play, the Gators took the point, despite South Florida's Bruno Oliveira and Thomas Pavlekovich-Smith taking their match against No. 10 Tanapatt Nirundorn and Togan Tokac on court two, 6-3.

In singles, Florida quickly added to their lead by winning court six against Pavlekovich-Smith. Alvin Tudorica's win on court three would be the Bulls' only point for the day.

Soon after, both Oliveira and Elijah Cham fell on their courts as the Gators secured the victory
