Both teams finish eighth in a strong performance at Grimesland, N.C.
<p><b>Grimesland, N.C., October 28, 2023ย </b>โย The University of South Floridaย men's and women'sย cross-country men and women's teams competedย in theย American Athletic Conference Championships held atย Lake Kristi, in Grimesland, N.C. on Saturday.ย </p>

<p>For the 6K, theย women finished eighthย with a final score of 251 points. The women beat out six other teams for their eighth-place finish, which was the most teams finished ahead of for the program in the last six years.</p>

<p>The men's squadย checked in at eighth place as well, with a score of 256 points.ย They beat out four other teams for their eighth-place finish, which again, was the most teams finished ahead of in the history of the program in the conference. Back in 2015 when the team last earned eighth, there were only nine other teams competing.ย </p>

<p>Following the AAC Championships on Saturday, the Bulls who qualify will head to Gainesville, Fla., for the NCAA South Regional competitions scheduled for Nov. 10.</p>
