South Florida Bests Tulsa, 2-1

TULSA, Okla. (October 5, 2023) – South Florida men's soccer (3-6, 1-2) topped Tulsa (4-4-2, 2-1), 2-1 at Hurricane Soccer & Track Stadium on Thursday.

Jalen Anderson executed for the Bulls early on, as he scored the first goal of the day off of a pass from Oscar Resano just seven minutes into the contest. Tulsa found an opportunity to equalize five minutes later, as Jared Aguilar managed to sneak a shot past USF's backline.

In the second stanza, the match was swung in favor of South Florida. Ajmeer Spengler passed the ball to Resano on the left corner of the box, who handed it off to Anderson. Anderson then took a shot, which was tapped in by a Tulsa defender (own goal).
