Tampa, Fla (March 29, 2023) – The No. 64 South Florida Bulls, riding a six-match winning streak, head to Houston for three matches, two against ranked teams.

In the opening match Friday, the 10-5 Bulls will face the 48th-ranked Rice Owls. Rice, riding a four-match winning streak, comes into the match at 9-5 on the season. The two teams last met on April 1, 2022, with the Owls coming out on top 4-2. Rice leads the series 7-1.

The Bulls will face their next opponent, their neighbors to the south, the 36th-ranked Florida International Panthers, on Saturday. The Panthers come in at 12-3 on the season and winners of their last eight. In the last meeting April 3, 2022, the Panthers got the win 4-0 and hold a 7-4 lead in the series.

The trip will wrap up on Monday when the Bulls take on conference foe Houston. The Cougars are 11-5 on the season and have won three straight. The two teams last faced off March 25, 2022 which saw the Bulls take a 4-2 win which extended their series lead to 4-1. You can watch that match live WATCH.

South Florida will be led by Sierra Berry. Berry has won her last four matches and her season singles record is a team-leading 12-2.

Following the matches in Houston, the Bulls return home to host Tulane April 8 at 12:00 at the USF Varsity Tennis Courts.
