- Why did you decide to attend the University of South Florida?
As a little kid growing up, it was always a dream of mine to compete at the division 1 level. In high school, I started pole vaulting, and I knew USF was the place I wanted to end up because of the success of the pole vaulters under Coach Marsh. Coming out of high school, I was not the best, so I went to a smaller division 2 in Tiffin, Ohio, with hopes of one day returning home to sunny South Florida.
- What has been the best aspect of being part of South Florida's Track & Field teams so far?
Attention to detail has been the best part for me because it keeps me focused on the main thing, as well as the team companionship. I was welcomed with open arms, and I have made many friends in my brief time here.
- What has been the biggest challenge you have come across since your arrival at USF?
The biggest challenge for me has been finding my way around campus. Finding a routine and sticking to a schedule has been a little tricky but with time it gets easier.
- What has surprised you the most about the University of South Florida?
Honestly, the amount of food options on campus is insane. The quality of food in the dining hall is also surprisingly good and very refreshing.
- What do you do away from practice and studying to relax?
Cooking has always been a passion of mine and something I do to relax. I also like to take pictures but my favorite thing to do recently has been watching movies. So, if you need any good ones, I got you!
- What is your favorite place in Tampa?
I have not seen much of Tampa, but the place I frequent the most outside of campus if Dunn's River Island Café.
