Bessette Ranked in Top Drawer Soccer Top-100

LONG BEACH, Calif. – Top Drawer Soccer announced its Preseason Women's National Top 100. Vivianne Bessette landed at No. 62 in the coveted collegiate player rankings.
Bessette, the junior defender, is a three-time AAC All-Conference First Team honoree and was a Preseason AAC All-Conference selection.
During her freshman campaign, Bessette finished the season ranked as the No. 19 freshman in the final Top-100 Freshman and was a member of the Best XI Freshman Second Team, both by Top Drawer Soccer. She was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region First Team, AAC All-Rookie Team, and AAC All-Conference First Team after a stella season. She tallied eight points in her first season at USF, including three goals and two assists.
Bessette was named to the Preseason AAC All-Conference Team. She recorded a goal and an assist, for three points during the 2021 season. Her lone goal was the game winner against Kentucky on Aug. 29. At the conclusion of the season, she earned a spot on the AAC All-Conference First Team as well as the AAC All-Tournament Team.
At the end of the 2022 campaign, Bessette earned a spot on the AAC All-Conference Team. She posted two assists, one on the game-winning goal against UTSA on Sept. 4. For her career, she has 13 points, five assists and four goals. She has logged 4,329 minutes in 48 matches.

The 2023 season marks the 17th and final for head coach Denise Schilte-Brown at the helm of the Bulls. Schilte-Brown guided South Florida to the program's first-ever NCAA Tournament in 2010 and the Bulls have made eight total postseason appearances (2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021) in the last 13 years. USF posted five consecutive seasons with a conference championship, winning the regular-season title in 2018, 2020 and 2021, while earning the tournament crown in 2017, 2019 and 2020. USF alum and Olympic Gold Medalist, Evelyne Viens, was selected fifth overall in the NWSL Draft by the Sky Blue FC, now Gotham FC. Viens was one of four Pro Bulls to participate in the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.
