Samantha Crosby and Audrey Gauthier Set to Compete at AVCA National Championships in Huntsville, Alabama

The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) is set to welcome beach volleyball fans to Huntsville, Alabama, for the Third Annual AVCA Beach Pairs National Championships, taking place November 15-17, 2024. This year, The John Hunt Park Sand Volleyball Complex will host the women's pairs national championship, featuring the top 64 pairs from college beach volleyball programs across the country.

Teams earned their bids based on standout performances from last spring, making this tournament a gathering of the best beach pairs nationwide. Among the competitors will be USF's standout duo, Samantha Crosby and Audrey Gauthier, who will represent the Bulls at this highly recognized event. This marks the first AVCA Championship appearance for Crosby, while Gauthier returns for her second. Their inclusion highlights the growth and impact of USF's emerging beach volleyball program.

Bulls fans can catch Crosby and Gauthier in action on Friday, November 15, at 10:00 AM ET in Pool 11.

The John Hunt Park Sand Volleyball Complex, located at 2305 Airport Rd SW, Huntsville, has a history with the AVCA, having hosted the inaugural women's pairs championship in 2022. This year's event promises three days of intense competition, showcasing top-tier skill and dedication.

About USF Beach Volleyball
The University of South Florida Beach Volleyball program is one of the newest sports at the university, bringing USF Athletics to a total of 21 teams and marking an exciting era for the Bulls. Pri Piantadosi-Lima was named South Florida's first-ever beach volleyball head coach on June 6, 2023. Coach Pri also serves as the head coach of the beach national team development program and was honored as the 2022 USA Volleyball Female Junior Coach of the Year. Before joining USF, she helped lead Eckerd College to its first AVCA national championship and two consecutive NCAA championship podium finishes.
