Carla Brito led USF on the glass, grabbing nine boards.

The Commodores were paced by sophomore forward Khamil Pierre's (17 points, 10 rebounds) Â double-double performance. Freshman guard Mikayla Blakes (16 points) and sophomore guard Madison Greene (15 points) rounded out the visitors who finished the night in double-digit points.

HOW THE GAME WAS DECIDED
Vanderbilt closed out the second stanza on a 10-4 scoring run, which gave the visitors an eight-point lead, 34-26 going into the break. Across the third quarter, the Commodores outscored the Bulls 20-11, leaving the score 54-37 in favor of Vanderbilt with 10 minutes to play. In the final three minutes of action, the Bulls strung together 10 unanswered points, but it wasn't enough as USF fell, 62-49.

- Dembele has recorded 3+ assists in 33 straight games, the second-longest active streak in DI, behind Drake's Katie Dinnebier (47 games).
