South Florida Athletics Announces Time Changes for December 21 Hoops Doubleheader

Tampa, Fla. – Nov. 26, 2024 – South Florida Athletics has announced time changes for its men's and women's basketball doubleheader on Saturday, Dec. 21 at the Yuengling Center.
 
The women's basketball game against Duke will now tip off at noon and the network has been elevated to ESPN2.
 
The men's basketball game versus East Texas A&M will tip at 3 p.m. on ESPN+.
 
For Bulls fans interested in staying for the men's game, general admission tickets will be available at guest services (Gate A) following the women's basketball on Saturday.

South Florida women's basketball has made 18 postseason tournament appearances and had nine NCAA Tournament berths in head coach Jose Fernandez's 25 seasons. The all-time winningest coach in program history, Fernandez has guided the Bulls to 11 20-win seasons, two WNIT final four appearances, the 2008-09 WNIT championship, has won over 450 career games, and is the all-time wins leader in the American Athletic Conference.

About USF Men's Basketball
The University of South Florida men's basketball, led by interim head coach Ben Fletcher, is a member of the American Athletic Conference. The Bulls enter their 2024-25 campaign, presented by Tampa General Hospital, on the heels of their best season in program history, in which they claimed their first-ever regular season conference title, won a record 25 games, and earned a Top 25 ranking for the first time in program history. A presence on the college basketball scene for more than five decades, South Florida has earned two conference titles and three NCAA tournament bids (1990, 1992, and 2012), appeared in the NIT eight times, and won the 2019 College Basketball Invitational. 
 
South Florida is wearing patches with the initials AAR this season in memory of their head coach, Amir Abdur-Rahim, who passed away in October 2024.
