Tampa, Fla., March 7, 2024 – University of South Florida track and field student-athletes Abdul-Rasheed Saminu and Shevioe Reid compete at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships on Friday and Saturday. Competition for the men's 60m dash semi-final starts at 4:18 p.m. ET on Friday, while the men's 200m dash semi-final begins at 5:40 p.m. ET on Friday.

Saminu's qualifying 60m dash time (6.57) came during the AAC indoor championship qualifying round Feb. 23 in Birmingham, Ala. Both Abdul-Rasheed Saminu and Shevioe Reid were named the American Athletic Conference Track Athlete of the Week once earlier this season. Saminu was awarded the conference's most outstanding performance following the AAC Championships.

Should either place in the top-eight finishers, the men's 60m dash final will take place at 4:40 p.m. ET on Saturday and the men's 200m dash final will be at 4:50 p.m. ET the same day.
