Bulls drop opener of road trip to Ragin’ Cajuns

USF was defeated on Saturday, 5-2.

LAFAYETTE, La. (March 9, 2024) – The University of South Florida Bulls (6-9) began a two-match road trip on Saturday with a 5-2 setback against the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns.

Erik Grevelius earned a 6-3, 1-6, 6-4 win on Court 2 and Agustin Cuellar posted a 6-2, 6-3 victory on Court 6. Grevelius improved to 10-2 in singles action with his win.

No. 45 Alvin Tudorica was outlasted on Court 1 by scores of 6-7, 6-2, 2-6.

The No. 72-ranked team of Grevelius and Tudorica on Doubles Court 1 also dropped their match on Saturday.  

Up Next
The Bulls conclude their road trip at Tulane on Sunday, March 10. The team will then return home for a matchup with UAB on Tuesday, March 12 at 1:30 p.m. in Tampa.

He was named the American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2017 & 2019 after leading USF to the conference title in each of those seasons.
