Vittoria Blasigh led all scorers with 19 points in South Florida's (13-8, 6-2) gritty, 63-60 win against East Carolina (10-10, 2-6) at Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum on Saturday night.

L'or Mputu nearly had a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds. Graduate guard
Mama Dembele added 11 points and three assists.

East Carolina's Khia Miller (16 points) and Jayla Hearp (15 points) combined for 31 of the Pirates 63 points.

HOW THE GAME WAS DECIDED
In the final seven minutes of action, the Bulls outscored the Pirates 18-5. Blasigh led the way with seven points in the stretch, and put USF one, 61-60, with under five seconds to play. Puisis sealed the Bulls' victory with two makes at the line.
