TAMPA, Fla., October 2, 2025 – The University of South Florida's Women's Tennis team is to compete in the Bedford Cup, hosted by the University of North Florida, on October 3-5.
Freshman Amelie Drukerova will be competing for the Bulls in singles play, alongside Margherita Marcon and Josefine Falster. Marcon and Falster will also be competing together in doubles.
Czech born and raised, Drukerova is one of two new players on the team, with junior Francesca Miglio who transferred to USF from Georgia State.
South Florida will face tough opponents from other D1 colleges across the state of Florida. For USF, the Bedford Cup provides an opportunity to build momentum and sharpen up match play early in the fall season.
With several Bulls coming off strong performances at both the Tribe Invitational and Milwaukee Classic, including wins against Power 4 teams, USF enters the Bedford Cup looking to continue that positive trajectory.
