TAMPA, FL (October 22, 2025)- The University of South Florida Men's Tennis team is sending two players to the American Fall Individual Conference Championships hosted in Tulsa, Oklahoma from October 23-26. The Bulls will be sending Elijah Cham and Gughi Verdese.
Senior Elijah Cham went 16-5 in singles last season, primarily playing on Court 3. Cham has competed in all three fall tournaments this season. Sophomore Gughi Verdese went 18-6 in singles last season, claiming Court 4. Verdese was named AAC Freshman of the Year. Verdese has competed in all three fall tournaments this season.
Both of the Bulls have a BYE for the opening day of the tournament and will begin play on Thursday. Cham is set to face the winner of an early morning match on Thursday at 3:30 PM. Verdese (10) is set to face Vasco Prata (7) at 3:30 PM.

Head coach Ashley Fisher is in his 10th year at the helm of the program for the 2025-26 season. Fischer has guided the Bulls to five NCAA Tournaments, including three trips to the second round. He was named the American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2017 & 2019 after leading USF to the conference title in each of those seasons.
