LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. (November 3, 2025) – The University of South Florida women's soccer team faced Charlotte for the quarterfinal match of the American Conference Championship. The No. 7 Bulls (9-8-2) beat the No. 2 49ers (10-6-2) 3-0. USF advances to the semifinal match played on Thursday, November 6, at 4 p.m.
The first goal came early in the 5th minute with a penalty kick from
Sadie Sider-Echenberg. She tucked it into the bottom left of the net.
Ten minutes later, in the 15th minute,
Noelle Sather gave the Bulls a 2-0 lead. Shooting from outside the box, she struck the ball with her right foot into the right side of the net.
Leire Herraez Gallach had seven saves in goal for South Florida, a season-high, in just the first half. USF would maintain the 2-0 lead through halftime.
Sophia Cabral gave the Bulls a 3-0 lead with a goal in the 52nd minute. She struck with her right foot and scored in the bottom right of the net.
Gentiana Fetaj was awarded the assist.
Herraez Gallach started and played the full 90 minutes in goal for the Bulls, making 10 saves, a career high.

South Florida now advances to the semifinals and will play the winner of No. 3 Tulsa vs No. 6 Rice. The match will be played on Thursday, November 6, at 4 p.m., streaming on ESPN+.
