MSOC Brandon Nyagurungo Top Drawer Soccer Award

USF Men’s Soccer Brandon Nyagurungo Named to TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week After Standout Performances

Senior forward recorded three goals and two assists, leading Bulls to No. 3 seed in American Conference Championship

November 04, 2025

TAMPA, Fla., Nov. 4, 2025 – University of South Florida senior forward Brandon Nyagurungo has earned national recognition, being named to TopDrawerSoccer's Men's Team of the Week following standout performances against Florida Atlantic and Memphis.

Nyagurungo scored once in a 4-3 loss to Florida Atlantic and added two goals and an assist in USF's 4-3 win over Memphis. His impact was crucial in the Memphis victory, where he accounted for half of South Florida's goals as the Bulls secured the No. 3 seed heading into the American Conference Championship.

The senior's leadership and consistent offensive contributions have been instrumental for South Florida's attack, helping the Bulls build momentum and confidence entering postseason play. Even in the final stretch of his collegiate career, Nyagurungo continues to elevate his game, proving he's far from finished making an impact.

The Bulls continue their season on Friday, Nov. 7, hosting No. 6 seed Tulsa in the opening round of the American Conference Championship playoffs at Corbett Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET, with live coverage available on ESPN+.
