MIAMI, Fla. (January 31, 2025)- The University of South Florida Men's Tennis team (3-1) fell to the Miami Hurricanes (4-2) on Friday, with a score of 5-2 in Coral Gables, Fla.  

Ben Hudson took a big win on Court 5 with a score of 6-4, 3-6, 1-0 (12-10), and Stepan Mruzek earned a 3-6, 6-0, 6-2 win on Court 6. 

The remainder of the singles and doubles fell. 

The Bulls are back home in Tampa on Monday to host UCF. The Bulls are 14-10 against Central Florida and lost in their last matchup.

Head coach Ashley Fisher is in his ninth year at the helm of the program for the 2022-23 season. Fischer has guided the Bulls to four NCAA Tournaments, including three trips to the second round. He was named the American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2017 & 2019 after leading USF to the conference title in each of those seasons.
