CHARLOTTE, N.C., March 14, 2025 – The University of South Florida softball team (22-8, 3-1 AAC) scored three runs in the seventh inning to complete the comeback win over the Charlotte 49ers (14-13, 2-2 AAC) on Friday night. The Bulls won 3-2.

South Florida entered the seventh inning, trailing Charlotte by two runs. Camille Ortiz-Martinez started the inning with a lead-off walk, then had Sam Walz pinch run for her. Charlotte had the game-winning run at the plate, but South Florida turned its 17th double play of the year to complete the comeback.
