Bulls Ready to Defend AAC Championship Title in Sarasota

USF Seeks Seventh Title in 11 Years
TAMPA, Fla (April 19, 2025) – The South Florida men's golf team heads to Sarasota Monday in hopes of repeating as AAC Champions. Senior Jake Peacock, competing in his final conference tournament, will look to become the first ever repeat individual champion in program history. Peacock and the Bulls will be competing at the Ritz Carlton Golf Club beginning Monday, April 21st at 8:30am EST.
As a team, the Bulls are currently on pace to break the all-time team scoring average set last season (284.42). They enter the AAC Championships with an average score of 283.96. As it stands now, Peacock (70.41), Jaglan (70.75), Ryding (71.66) and Smith (71.95) all sit in the top-20 in individual season scoring in program history.
South Florida has one team title this season at the FAU Invitational and finished top six in five of their tournaments this season. Both seniors Peacock and Jaglan have an individual title at the FAU Invitational and the Linger Longer Invitational, respectively.
The 11-team AAC Championship field consists of: South Florida, Florida Atlantic, Texas- San Antonio, East Carolina, Rice, Temple, Wichita State, Alabama-Birmingham, North Texas, North Carolina- Charlotte, Memphis.
Coach Bradley's lineup for AAC Championship will consist of: Jake Peacock, Shubham Jaglan, Wilhelm Ryding, Cooper Smith and Nino Palmquist. Matthew Joseph will be competing as an individual.

The USF men's golf program has captured 19 conference titles and has seen players earn 19 All-America honors. The Bulls have won six American Athletic Conference Tournament championships in wire-to-wire fashion, winning four consecutive from 2015-18. The Bulls have had four individual conference champions, including Albin Bergstrom in 2021, and gone on to earn nine straight NCAA Regional appearances, including a 6th place finish in NCAA Championship match-play in 2015. USF is led by Steve Bradley, who has been named American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year five times since taking over the program in 2014. The Bulls have posted 24 tournament wins under Bradley including three in the 2023-24 season, by far the most under any coach in program history.
