MINNEAPOLIS, Minn., Sep. 13, 2025 – The University of South Florida volleyball team faced South Dakota State on Saturday afternoon inside Maturi Pavilion, with the Jackrabbits pulling away a 3–0 win (22-25, 22-25, 23-25).
The Bulls (2-5) showed resilience throughout the match, pushing each set to the wire and forcing extended rallies against a strong Jackrabbits squad. Senior outside hitter
Arianna Beckham led the offensive effort with 11 kills while
Maria Clara Andrade and
Imani Hartfield pitched in with key kills to keep USF within striking distance in each set.
Defensively, libero
Samiha Foster anchored the back row with 16 digs, while the Bulls' front line totaled eight blocks as a team.
Imani Hartfield,
Arianna Beckham and
Laila Ivey combined for eight team blocks to slow down South Dakota State's attack.
USF nearly forced a fourth set, rallying late in the third with back-to-back blocks and a service ace from Hartfield to narrow the score to 23-24 before ultimately dropping the final point.
