TAMPA, Fla., September 25, 2025 – Fresh off their dominant showing at the Tribe Invitational, the USF women's tennis team will look to carry their momentum into this weekend at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic, Sept. 25-28. After stacking up 20 victories in Williamsburg, VA., the bulls enter the tournament with depth and resilience that was exhibited across singles and doubles play last week.
Playing this weekend for the Bulls are Sienna Leeson, Melisa Senli, Charlotte Ruud and Francesca Miglio.
Coming off a singles draw title at the Tribe Invitational, Leeson delivered three gritty wins last weekend. Senli is poised to gain valuable early-season experience in Milwaukee, looking to build confidence and consistency as the Bulls face another challenging field.
In Williamsburg, Ruud reached the singles final, defeating opponents from William & Mary and JMU before falling short in the championship match, while Miglio captured a back draw singles title with straight-set victories.
Heading into this weekend, Leeson and Senli each begin with a bye in singles, with Miglio and Ruud first facing opponents from Arkansas State and Ball State respectively. In doubles, Senli/Leeson will start with a bye as a pair and Miglio/Ruud face Arkansas State.
The Milwaukee classic will also feature a competitive field including notable programs like Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Wisconsin and Navy, setting the stage for a strong test for the Bulls.
