USF Men's Tennis Set for Home Opener vs. Georgia Southern

February 12, 2026

TAMPA, Fla., February 12, 2026 — The University of South Florida Men's Tennis team returns to Tampa on Sunday for its home opener against Georgia Southern, marking the first match on the Bulls' brand-new on-campus courts this season.

USF comes into the matchup fresh off a tightly contested 3-4 battle against Miami. The Bulls captured three singles victories against the Power Four opponent, pushing the match to the brink and keeping the result within reach until the final courts were decided. The performance showcased the team's depth and competitiveness early in the spring campaign.

Sunday presents an opportunity for the Bulls to build on that momentum and translate it into a complete team result on their home surface. After proving they can compete point-for-point with high-level competition, USF will look to carry that intensity into both doubles and singles play.

The home opener also marks an exciting moment for the program as the Bulls officially compete in front of their home crowd on the new courts. With confidence growing and energy high, USF aims to protect its home surface and continue trending upward.

First serve is set for 1:30pm on Sunday at the USF Varsity Tennis Courts.
