March 11, 2026

TAMPA, Fla. (March 10, 2026) – The University of South Florida's men's tennis team (3-11) returns to the USF Varsity Tennis Courts this week as the Bulls host the No. 37 Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders (14-4) and No. 70 Rice Owls (6-6).

South Florida will open the week against Middle Tennessee on Saturday before wrapping up the homestand against Rice on Sunday. Both matches will be played at 1:30 pm and take place at the USF Varsity Tennis Courts in Tampa.

The Bulls return home looking to build momentum as the team continues through its spring schedule. South Florida has shown resilience throughout the early portion of the season and will look to capitalize on the home-court advantage this week.

Saturday's matchup with Middle Tennessee will mark another competitive meeting between the two programs. Historically, the record is split between the two as the Bulls record six wins and six losses against the Blue Raiders. South Florida took a 5-2 win on the road in their last matchup last year. Middle Tennessee is currently ranked No. 37

USF will then turn its focus to Rice on Sunday. The Owls provide another test for the Bulls, bringing depth across both doubles and singles play as the rank No. 70. Rice leads the all-time series between the two, 3-2. The Bulls dropped the last match against the Owls 3-4, in the American Conference Tournament

With two matches on the schedule, the Bulls will look for strong performances across all courts as they aim to add to their win column and continue building confidence heading into the latter portion of the season.
