GREENSBORO, Ga. (March 19, 2026) – The South Florida men's golf team will compete at the Linger Longer Invitational, hosted by Mercer, on March 20-22 at the Great Waters Course at Reynolds Lake Oconee. The tournament will be three rounds with 18 holes on each day.
The tournament consists of three rounds, with 18 holes played each day. Teams will begin each round at 8:30 a.m. The Great Waters Course is a par-72 layout measuring 7,400 yards.

South Florida finished in 10
th place out of 16 teams at the Hayt Invitational on March 7-9, shooting 9-under par. The Bulls finished ahead of two top-20 teams, including No. 15 Alabama and No. 20 Duke.
Previewing the Bulls
Wilhelm Ryding leads the Bulls with a 69.86 stroke average and ranks No. 41 in the NCAA Division men's individual rankings by Clippd. He is tied for a team-high eight rounds in the 60s and ranks second with 12 rounds at par or better. Ryding finished tied for 44
th (E) at the Hayt Invitational.
Jackson Spybey is second on the team with a 70.24 stroke average and leads South Florida with 13 rounds at par or better. He is tied with Ryding for a team-high eight rounds in the 60s. Spybey finished tied for 36
th (-1) at the Hayt Invitational.
Nino Palmquist has a 71.29 stroke average with six rounds in the 60s and 10 rounds at par or better. He won the Saint Leo Invitational with a season-best 14-under par 202 on Feb. 16-17. Palmquist finished tied for 36
th (-1) at the Hayt Invitational.
Roman Solomon (72.47) has three rounds in the 60s and six rounds at par or better. He finished tied for 76
th (+7) at the Hayt Invitational but shot a 3-under 69 in the final round.
Joshua Stewart (72.24) has eight rounds at par or better and shot a season-best 1-under 215 at the Hayt Invitational.
Gunnar Green (72.80) has six rounds at par or better this season and will compete as an individual.

There are 18 teams in the field, including No. 11 Vanderbilt, No. 16 Alabama, No. 19 Charlotte, Elon, Georgia, Jacksonville, Kennesaw State, Kentucky, Louisiana Tech, Mercer, Ohio State, Rutgers, South Alabama, UNC Greensboro, Virginia Tech, Wofford, and West Georgia.

About USF Men's Golf
The USF men's golf program has captured 19 conference titles and has seen players earn 19 All-America honors. The Bulls have won six American Athletic Conference Tournament championships in wire-to-wire fashion, winning four consecutive from 2015-18. The Bulls have had six individual conference champions, including Jake Peacock in both 2024 and 2025. They went to nine straight NCAA Regional appearances from 2013-2022, including a 6th place finish in NCAA Championship match-play in 2015. USF is led by Steve Bradley, who has been named American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year five times since taking over the program in 2014. The Bulls have posted 25 tournament wins under Bradley including three in the 2023-24 season, by far the most under any coach in program history.
