Coastal Carolina responded with a 6-4 win on court three, before clinching the doubles point on court two in a tightly contested 7-6 battle.
Singles play began with Drukerova putting the Bulls on the board. She was first off the court, delivering a dominant 6-0, 6-3 victory on court five to tie the match at 1-1. Coastal Carolina answered quickly, picking up straight-set wins on courts six and two to take a 3-1 lead. The match was decided on court four, where Francesca Miglio fought through a close second set but ultimately fell 6-3, 7-5. Courts one and three remained unfinished.
The Bulls bounced back with a strong showing in Charleston, pushing the Cougars to the brink in a 4-3 loss. Charleston secured the doubles point, taking courts two and one in order of finish. South Florida picked up a win on court three, where Amelie Drukerova and Dharani Niroshan combined for a 6-3 victory.
In singles, Charleston struck first with a win on court three, but South Florida responded quickly. Loana Vargas evened the match at 1-1 with a 6-4, 6-3 win on court six, and Melisa Senli followed with a 7-5, 6-2 victory on court one to give the Bulls a 2-1 advantage. Charleston regained the lead with wins on courts five and two, including a three-set battle against Sienna Leeson.
Drukerova once again delivered in a key moment, battling to a 6-0, 4-6, 6-4 win on court five to tie the match at 3-3. The deciding point came down to court four, where Miglio pushed to three sets but fell just short in a 7-5 final set, sealing the 4-3 result.
South Florida returns home to host Brown on Monday, March 23 at 5 p.m. The match will serve as Senior Night, honoring Dharani Niroshan and Melisa Senli.
