NAPLES, Fla. (April 7, 2026) – Wilhelm Ryding finished in second place, shooting 8-under 208, as the South Florida men's golf team finished fourth (-7) at the Calusa Cup, hosted by Iowa, at Calusa Pines Golf Course.
The Bulls finished seven strokes ahead of No. 34 Louisville.
Ryding matched his best finish of the season, shooting in the 60s for the first two rounds. He finished ahead of five top 50 golfers in the nation.
Hugo Trommetter recorded his lowest round of the season, shooting 4-under 68 in the opening round, and finished tied for 11
th at 3-under 213.
Jackson Spybey tied for 17
th place at 1-over 217, recording two rounds at or under par.
Nino Palmquist tied for 23
rd and closed strong with a final round at 3-under 69.
Joshua Stewart finished in 35
th place.
No. 3 Florida won the tournament by four strokes with a 22-under 842. Virginia's Paul Chang claimed the individual title at 12-under 204.
