South Florida Women's Basketball Announces 2026 WBCA Showcase at Walt Disney World Resort

Bulls to face Texas Tech Nov. 22 at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
TAMPA, Fla., July 28, 2026 – The University of South Florida Women's Basketball program will compete in the third annual WBCA Showcase this November at Walt Disney World Resort, the Women's Basketball Coaches Association announced Tuesday.
South Florida joins Alabama, Florida A&M, Florida State, North Carolina, Purdue, Texas Tech and UCF in the eight-team field for the event, now in its third year. All games will be played at the State Farm Field House at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on Nov. 19, 21 and 22.
South Florida will take the floor on Sunday, Nov. 22, against Texas Tech at 1 p.m. ET.

Sunday, Nov. 22: South Florida vs. Texas Tech, 1 p.m. ET
This marks the second meeting between South Florida and Texas Tech in program history. The first came on March 23, 2013, in the first round of the women's NCAA Championship in Lubbock, Texas. The Bulls (No. 10 seed) took down the Lady Raiders (No. 7 seed) 71-70 to advance to the second round.
The Lady Raiders' head coach at the time was now South Florida head coach Kristy Curry. Curry coached at Texas Tech from 2006 through 2013.
