South Florida Women's Basketball Set to Compete in 2026 Paradise Jam

Bulls Head to St. Thomas for Multi-Game Paradise Jam Tournament; Open Against Seton Hall Nov. 27.
TAMPA, Fla., July 30, 2026 – The University of South Florida Women's Basketball will head to the U.S. Virgin Islands this November to compete in the 2026 Paradise Jam, one of the premier early-season tournaments in college basketball.
The Bulls will play in the Reef Division along with Baylor, Penn State, and Seton Hall as part of the tournament's 12-team women's field, running Thursday, Nov. 26 through Saturday, Nov. 28 at the University of the Virgin Islands' Elridge Blake Sports and Fitness Center on St. Thomas.
South Florida opens tournament play against Seton Hall on Friday, Nov. 27 at 9 p.m. ET in the Reef Division's first round.
The other Reef Division first-round matchup pits Penn State against Baylor at 6:30 p.m. ET that same day.
Third-place and championship games will follow on Saturday, Nov. 28.
This marks South Florida's fifth trip to the Paradise Jam, with the program having previously competed in the tournament in 2008, 2014, 2018 and 2023.
The Paradise Jam, first held in 2000, brings together some of the nation's top women's college basketball programs each fall for tournament-style play across three divisions — Harbor, Island and Reef. The event is a fixture on the early-season college basketball calendar and has featured past national title contenders and eventual NCAA Tournament teams.
