Bulls set to battle Belmont and Rhode Island Nov. 6-8 in Belmont, Tennessee at Curb Event Center.
TAMPA, Fla., July 9, 2026 – The University of South Florida Women's Basketball program will open the 2026-27 season with two marquee non-conference matchups as part of a new strategic scheduling partnership between the American Conference, the Atlantic 10, the Ivy League and the Missouri Valley Conference, the American Conference announced Thursday.
The Bulls are one of two American Conference programs selected to compete in the multi-conference showcase, which brings together top teams from some of the nation's most competitive Division I women's basketball leagues for a tournament-style event on opening weekend. USF will play both games at the Curb Event Center on the campus of Belmont University in Belmont, Tenn.
South Florida opens the weekend on Friday, Nov. 6, against Missouri Valley Conference member Belmont, before facing Atlantic 10 opponent Rhode Island on Sunday, Nov. 8.
