South Florida Women’s Lacrosse Announces Fall Schedule

Bulls set to compete in four fall play days and host Alumni Game
TAMPA, FLA. (September 22, 2026) –South Florida women's lacrosse head coach Mindy McCord and the Bulls have announced their 2026 fall schedule, featuring four competitive play days, including one home event, as the program prepares for the upcoming season.
The Bulls will open the fall slate on Saturday, Oct. 3, with the Alumni Game welcoming former Bulls back to campus for a day of competition. The current Bulls will face off against the former players in a matchup between past and present members of the program.
South Florida will then host its Fall home play day on Saturday, Oct. 10, at the lacrosse practice field. The Bulls will welcome Flagler, Stetson, and Florida Southern for a full day of competition. The event is open to the public and free to attend.
The Bulls will hit the road for the first time on Sunday, Oct. 18, traveling to Centerville, Va for the American Boy Fall Play Day. South Florida will face John Hopkins, Pitt, and William & Mary, with competition beginning at 10 a.m.
South Florida will continue its fall schedule Saturday, Oct. 24, traveling to Rutgers for a play day. The Bulls will compete against Rutgers, Colorado, and Holy Cross.
The Bulls will close out fall ball Saturday, Oct. 31, traveling across Tampa to compete in the Tampa Fall Play Day hosted by the University of Tampa.

About South Florida Women's Lacrosse
Mindy McCord enters her third season at the helm of the South Florida women's lacrosse program after guiding the Bulls to unprecedented success in their first two seasons. Under McCord's leadership, South Florida has established itself as a contender in the American Conference, advancing to the conference championship game in each of its first two seasons and capturing the 2026 American regular-season championship with a perfect 6-0 record in league play. In 2026, McCord led the Bulls to a 12-5 record and their first regular-season championship, while South Florida earned an RPI ranking of No.14- the highest RPI ranking recorded by a first-or-second-year program in NCAA Division 1 women's lacrosse history. McCord has produced two conference Player of the Year honorees and 11 All-Conference selections in the program's first two seasons. McCord was named South Florida's first head coach in May 2022. McCord arrived in Tampa with 240 career wins and a proven record of building a successful program after launching and leading Jacksonville University's women's lacrosse team for its first 13 seasons. During her tenure at JU, she guided the Dolphins to 21 regular-season and conference tournament titles, eight NCAA Tournament appearances, and back-to-back Sweet Sixteen berths while developing 13 All-Americans, 81 all-conference selections, and 13 conference Player of the Year honorees.
